About the Project

The Elder Learning & Empowerment Center is a specialized facility that provides adult literacy, digital education, and life skills programs tailored for seniors.
It focuses on helping them read, write, and understand the modern world — while encouraging social interaction, creativity, and personal growth.

The center will include:

• 🖊️ Adult Literacy Classrooms: teaching reading, writing, and numeracy skills.

• 💻 Digital Learning Lab: introducing seniors to smartphones, computers, and online communication.

• 💬 Social & Cultural Hall: a safe place for discussions, cultural events, and intergenerational programs.

• 🧵 Skill Development Area: offering simple crafts, sewing, and productive activities.

• 🌞 Solar-powered facilities: ensuring continuous operation and sustainability.

• Reduce adult illiteracy among men and women aged 40 and above.

• Empower seniors with basic digital and life skills to improve their independence.

• Promote mental well-being, self-worth, and lifelong productivity.

Total Project Cost

The estimated cost to establish and operate the Elder Learning & Empowerment Center is $250,000 USD (≈ 937,000 SAR).

This includes:

• Construction and furnishing of classrooms.

• Teaching materials and literacy tools.

• Computers, tablets, and internet setup.

• Solar energy and accessibility features.

• Training and salaries for instructors.
